The pressure washer nozzles can be divided into the following three types depending on the shape. They are cylindrical nozzles, fan-shaped nozzles and special-shaped nozzles. There are many differences among these three.
1. Cylindrical nozzles: These types of nozzles are developed on the basis of conical convergent nozzles and are a relatively common type of continuous water jet nozzle. Frequently used nozzles of this shape include: typical high pressure nozzles, cylindrical nozzles for guns, and the like.
2. Fan-shaped nozzle: The jet ejected by the fan-shaped nozzle is not only flat and very uniform, its jet density is good, and the diffusion angle can also be freely changed, and its flexibility is high. In addition, the cleaning area of the fan-shaped nozzle is also much larger than that of the cylindrical nozzle. The main disadvantages are: due to the extreme diffusion of the high pressure water jet, the energy of the jet and the blow pressure loss are very serious. Therefore, higher pressure is often needed in practical operation, such as the use of ultra high pressure water jet equipment.
3. Special-shaped nozzles: Special-shaped nozzles are developed in order to greatly improve the bundling performance of water jets. The jet produced by this type of nozzle can effectively prevent the air from being wrapped in the jet, thereby greatly increasing the intensity of the jet. It has been proved that the performance of abrasive jets using shaped nozzles is much higher than that of cylindrical nozzles, and the use of such nozzles can also effectively reduce the pressure of power and high pressure water jets.
